How to become a Coverholder

The first step to becoming a Lloyd’s coverholder is to find a broker to act as your sponsor and a managing agent, such as Kiln, to support your application for Lloyd’s approval.

Your broker will be your main point of contact throughout the application process, which involves due diligence being conducted on your company by the managing agency and an application being submitted to Lloyd’s via the Lloyd’s Atlas system.
