Kiln Regional Underwriting has offices in Leeds, Manchester and Ipswich. They form part of our international network of marine underwriters, which allows us to provide specialist capability close to our business producers.

Each office delivers marine underwriting, risk management and a local claims service to brokers and clients throughout the UK. Our underwriters specialise in marine products, cargo, stock throughput and various marine liability products for operators in the transport and logistics sector.

In addition, Kiln’s special risks products include cover for project cargo, political, credit and trade disruption risks, terrorism, consequential loss, rejection of frozen foods, delay in delivery or startup and mortgagee interest. Most of the consequential loss business we write is tailored to the issues faced by customers with conventional marine exposures.
